Matthew J. Walker, D.D.S., M.S.D.

Dr. Walker was born in Colorado, but his family relocated to southern Missouri when he was 11 years old. Upon graduating high school, he attended William Penn University, where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Biology. He was then commissioned in the United States Army in 2006 as a Second Lieutenant while attending UMKC School of Dentistry. Upon graduation in 2010, he was promoted to the rank of Captain and began his active-duty service. It was during this time that his passion for endodontics was cultivated. After six years of military service, Dr. Walker returned to civilian life and started his residency training for endodontics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. His family relocated to St. Louis after graduation and Dr. Walker has been addressing the endodontic needs of patients in the area since.  In 2021, Dr. Walker started River City Endodontics, and he achieved the prestigious designation of becoming Board-Certified by the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Walker is a member of the following organizations: American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, and College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Walker and his wife, Sarah, are the proud parents of 6 children. He has been married for over 20 years and enjoys spending time with his family. Matt and Sarah are also active in their local church. When he is not treating patients, you will find him hiking, playing board games, and reading.
